Today, she devotes herself mainly to drawing portraits from life, where she represents the model in his or her interior, paying particular attention to this environment, which symbolises for her the expression of the models' personality. These drawings are made directly in front of the model, with Indian ink, without any sketch or repentance.  Christelle Téa seeks resemblance but not realism, because for her, drawing means selecting the most significant elements in the complexity of the visible. Christelle Téa also devotes herself to interior views, drawn as portraits without models, as well as to landscapes. In these works, she decants a materiality to reveal the essence of its perception.

Christelle Téa has completed several artist residencies at the Musée national Jean-Jacques Henner in Paris, at Saratha Vilas in South India, in Budapest, and at the Aquarium de Paris,

She has exhibited at the Musée national Jean-Jacques Henner in Paris, the Propriété Caillebotte and the Musée Cognacq-Jay.

Among the collections of the Kiscelli Museum in Budapest, Clark Art Institute in the United States, in Parisian museums such as the Musée de la Vie romantique, the Musée Cognacq-Jay, the Petit Palais, the Fondation Custodia, the Palais Galliera, the Musée national d'Histoire Naturelle, the Bibliothèque Mazarine, the Bibliothèque de l'Institut de France, the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal, Ralph Lauren, Idem Paris and private collections.
