Flights and transfers
Scheduled flights, as well as the transfers corresponding to your cruise, are proposed by PONANT. In addition, for certain destinations less accessible by scheduled flights, PONANT can charter flights for passengers, enabling a more direct or advantageous connection, while ensuring you enjoy a high-quality service.
PONANT can also organise your transfers before/after your cruise between airport and embarkation/disembarkation port (private bespoke transfers are also possible). For more information, please consult your travel agent.

From winter 2024/2025, enjoy one excursion included per person at each port of call on all our cruises1. Art, culture, nature, beaches, snorkelling... To help you discover and explore your destination, our experts have put together a selection of the very best unmissable immersive experiences for you to choose from.
There may also be very limited-capacity optional excursions available designed to give you an even more in-depth experience of your destination, such as ice fishing, dog-sledding, helicopter flights and exploring inside a volcano.

Help and assistance from start to finish
You can book your Ponant cruise several months prior to departure. We'll also guide and assist you in the period up to your voyage. We'll be available at all times, in particular to pre-book your flights, your before and after cruise programmes or your excursions.
Booking
In the days following your booking, you'll receive an email that will enable you to complete your MY PONANT account with the required information for your stay with our company.
You will be notified when our pre- and post-cruise programmes go on sale and about flight booking options. You can then make your bookings through your advisor.
We will arrange the formalities for your departure and invite you to update your MY PONANT profile by, in particular, entering your passport number and checking its validity date.
You will receive your final invoice by email, and we will also explain the formalities you need to complete prior your departure, such as visas and forms to complete, etc.
Your advisor will call you (or your travel agent) to answer any further questions you may have about preparing for your trip and what to expect onboard the ship.
You will be provided with details about the excursions available on your itinerary by email (does not apply to expedition cruises). As places on excursions are limited, we strongly recommend pre-booking with your advisor by email or telephone as early as possible.
Your travel documents will be sent to you:

An SMS will be sent to you 3 days prior to your boarding summarising useful information.

The PONANT Travel Book
Sent by post several weeks before the start of your cruise, the Travel Book contains all the practical documents and detailed information required for your voyage to go smoothly. This includes:
- A word of welcome from your captain
- The dates and itinerary for your cruise
- Information about the ship and your stateroom or suite
- Details of excursions offered on board
- Detailed information about pre- and post-cruise programmes
- Tips and advice about what clothing to take
- Telephone numbers to call in case of emergency

Depart with complete peace of mind by booking in advance
Make things easier by pre-booking your included and/or optional experiences by email or telephone as early as two months before the start of your cruise and up to seven days before boarding. Don't delay: places are limited, so applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
